Research Projects

The University of Amsterdam is involved in many Digital Humanities research projects.

Centre for Digital Humanities

The goal of the Centre is to initiate and coordinate short-term research with a private partner, that may lead to larger projects in which expertise from the humanities and industry is brought together. Each project involves a research question from the humanities of which the solution is approached by means of a proof of concept or a concrete product using techniques from Digital Humanities. In addition, the aim is to encourage aspiring humanities researchers to find a place in the Centre.\
